Purse Announcement for HulaCross (Hula-X)! Fastest Car Wins $1000!

We're super excited to announce the purse October 16th's Hula-X will be as follows:

1st Place/Fastest Lap Time = $1000
2nd Place/2nd Fastest Lap Time = $300
3rd Place/3rd Fastest Lap Time = $200

Vehicles must be either stock/modified class.  No unlimited vehicles are allowed to compete for the purse.

We had a great driver's meeting for both the Hula-X & Powderpuff Demo Derby today. Everyone is excited and watching the Hula-X demo run by Koa was awesome! The tabletop jump & mudpit is really gonna make the crowd go crazy!  Everytime he landed off of the tabletop there was nothing but "Ooooh..." from the crowd.  Great stuff, and we can't wait to see all of you on Saturday!

Remember, this is run what you brung...it just needs to have wheels, a low center of gravity, and be of sound construction.  Helmet, Long pants, t-shirt, closed-shoes and just come and bring it!

Racing is back on Oahu!

Hello Dear Supporters,

The word so far we've received from our Attorney is that DHHL is rescinding the letter of eviction due to a miscommunication.  We are going to suspend events for November until we meet with DHHL per agreement, but this is only a temporary suspension.  As soon as we have the meeting, we intend to continue operation of the facility, and will have dates scheduled soon after.

As for now, we don't have any official papers in hand saying as such, so we're taking the same stance we've held for the majority of today in that we are being evicted, although we treat this just as a formality.  In addition, DHHL has cancelled our appearance before Hawaiian Homes Commission, so we won't be able to address them on this issue publically so we ask that everyone continue to send in letters of support, because we are not through this yet.

We're not sure why there has been such an immediate turn of events, but we can hope that it has had alot to do with public pressure and support of our project.

KGMB provided some great coverage for us tonight and you can read the article and I assume watch the video as well.

KGMB - Racing is back on Oahu but not without some controversy

We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of support.  It is heartfelt and appreciated.  We promise that we'll continue to move forward.  Mahalo for everything!
