Kalaeloa Raceway Park is the new home of motorsports for Oahu and its neighbor islands. Since the closure of Hawaii Raceway Park, motorsports enthusiasts have had nowhere to go to exercise their need for speed. KRP hopes to change that and is on track to fill the void in the hearts of local speed freaks.
A grassroots volunteer project, KRP is in its second year of holding successful events after a three and a half year development process. Located just off of Coral Sea Road in the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station, KRP is nestled comfortably close to Kalaeloa Airport, which provides a sensible location to conduct motorsports.
Hours:
KRP is open only during specific event weekends. Please check the Calendar for upcoming event dates along with admission prices and hours. Any questions or concerns may be directed to the Track Coordinator, Michael Kitchens @ 782-7432.
Directions to KRP:
From H1 West Bound, take the Kapolei Exit onto Fort Barrette Road to Roosevelt Avenue. Take a right onto Coral Sea ending at Casablanca Street. Kalaeloa Raceway Park is situated just before the intersection of Coral Sea & Tripoli Road. Please drive safely and within the speed limit so that we may represent a positive experience for our surrounding community!
Alternate Directions (Less Traffic): From H-1 west-bound, take the North South Rd exit. Follow the road down to the Kapolei Parkway, turn left and follow the road down to the first traffic light. Turn right on Renton Rd and turn left over the train tracks. Then turn right on Roosevelt towards Waianae, then left turn on Coral Sea Rd. KRP is directly across the 1 1/2 mile marker.
