Attention Mini Stockers,

During the Stock Car meeting at the track Bobby Carrick was appointed as class rep for the Mini Stock class, as no one came forward for this position.  At this time Bobby would like to step down from being the class rep.  The track will be representing the Mini Stock class until February, when this class will have to mandatorily choose 3 class reps.

Super Modified is being suggested as a Beginner Class for Open Wheel.  A beginner is someone who has never raced in an open wheel class, wing, non-wing, or super modified. If you are interested in participating, please contact the appropriate Rep.

ATTENTION ALL STOCK CAR RACERS

There will be a Mass Meeting for all classes Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Kalaeloa Raceway Park.

The purpose for this meeting is to go over the Rules and Specs of your cars for the various classes and to go over Pit Areas and Track Design. 

We understand some of you may have other commitments on this date, so please have a representative from your team attend this meeting for you.  There might be some voting done this night.  Your representative should be someone who can act on your behalf. 

If you have any questions or concerns, please write them down prior to this meeting and bring them with you.  We would like this opportunity to cover them.

If you would like to reserve your number, please contact us by email @ support@kalaeloaracewaypark.com  List your full name, class, two forms of contact info (phone & email) as well as your preferred number.

We are allowing the number "0" to be placed before a number to make it unique. THIS WILL APPLY TO NUMBERS "0 - 9" ONLY.  Single digit numbers are the only ones that has three options to choose from.  Double digit numbers will only have the option to add an alpha after their number.

Over the last several weeks, there has been a lot of excitement with the upcoming Oval Track.  There has been a huge amount of calls that came in from racers that stated that they weren't ready, there weren't any meetings for their classes, where can we buy fuel from, tire specs, who's selling cars, who's selling parts, who's the class reps, etc.  The Winged and Non-Wing classes are the only two that have had their meetings and chose their reps, but they still need time to prepare their vehicles to comply with our track safety rules.  Other classes, such as Super Streets, Mini-Stocks, Bombers, Mini-Modified, Modified and the newly formed Mini-Truck class still have not come together and it has also been requested that the Super-Modifieds be brought back for the open-wheeled beginner class.  

We at KRP, are trying to get this moving forward as fast as possible, but we need your cooperation.  We are trying to allow a fair amount of time for the classes to get themselves situated prior to racing.  As a courtesy, we will be rescheduling the October 21st Test n' Tune to allow the racers additional time to re-group and get together to have their meetings to go over specs and rules for their class and choose their reps.  We will only be doing this once. 

We are urging racers to contact us to start registering.  Classes that are not filled by the December 9th race might not be put on the 2013 Race Calendar, due to lack of interest.  

The new date for the first Test n' Tune will be on November 17th with the second on the 18th, and we are adding an additional date on Saturday, November 24th.
