Our second HulaCross was seriously awesome full of extreme off-road action as well as some of the most amazing jumps and fender-bender carnage Oahu has ever seen! Thanks to the great participation, we were able to give an $800 combined purse for our second event. You can find some fantastic photos at our official Facebook page - Kalaeloa Raceway Park!
We'd like to thank everyone that came out to participate at Hula-X...the drivers put on an incredible show that wowed the crowd, and left most people giggling in excitement, including the drivers themselves! Throughout the day, the crowds ooh'ed and ahh'ed at tons of insane tabletop jumps, thrilled at the mudpit splashes, and screamed at the off-the-wall crashes that resulted in some seriously raw footage that we simply can't wait to put together in our next video. We'd also like to thank our volunteers, including our course workers, timing officials, and our photo/videographers for making the event happen.
Thanks to DH Built for coming out and crushing some cars with his monster rig...it was good fun and a perfect complement to the Hula-X action!
We welcome you to check out our next HulaCross coming in December and join the rest of us as we enjoy what has simply become one of the most phenomenal motorsports events on Oahu.
Heads up to all of our drivers...we would like to put on a flag-to-flag, wheel-2-wheel race, but we simply must require that you have a firesuit, 4,5, or 6 point harness, secure yet removable window nets and/or arm restraints (Need nets on both sides if you have passengers). We are looking at a minimum 4 vehicles for the race. Purses will depend on driver participation.
In addition, we'd like to congratulate our winners in the following photos...awarded by Co-Developer & Park Owner Jeanette Grace.
Fastest Time - Mike Ward - 52.50 - $400
2nd Fastest Time - Boy Moniz - 1:00.06 - $300
3rd Fastest Time - Avery Tsui - 1:00.5 - $100. Avery graciously re-donated his purse winnings towards putting some asphalt down at KRP! Thank you, Avery!
