Racing is back on Oahu!

Hello Dear Supporters,

The word so far we've received from our Attorney is that DHHL is rescinding the letter of eviction due to a miscommunication.  We are going to suspend events for November until we meet with DHHL per agreement, but this is only a temporary suspension.  As soon as we have the meeting, we intend to continue operation of the facility, and will have dates scheduled soon after.

As for now, we don't have any official papers in hand saying as such, so we're taking the same stance we've held for the majority of today in that we are being evicted, although we treat this just as a formality.  In addition, DHHL has cancelled our appearance before Hawaiian Homes Commission, so we won't be able to address them on this issue publically so we ask that everyone continue to send in letters of support, because we are not through this yet.

We're not sure why there has been such an immediate turn of events, but we can hope that it has had alot to do with public pressure and support of our project.

KGMB provided some great coverage for us tonight and you can read the article and I assume watch the video as well.

KGMB - Racing is back on Oahu but not without some controversy

We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of support.  It is heartfelt and appreciated.  We promise that we'll continue to move forward.  Mahalo for everything!
